LARGE CANDLE OR SMALL CANDLE?
You have found the scent you love! Yes! This is the one you are buying…and then…the dilemma: Do you purchase the small candle or the large candle?
Here’s the deal Lucille: The SIZE OF THE CANDLE YOU PURCHASE SHOULD BE DETERMINED BY WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO PLACE YOUR NEW CANDLE
WHAT?
Absolutely.
If you are purchasing a candle to try a new brand or scent, sure, purchase the small one.
If a new candle is going to be one of your “life” scents forever and ever, the size of the candle should be a placement decision and not a money decision. Imagine trying to scent a large room with a tealight candle; of course, this isn’t feasible. A tealight candle may scent a closed shoebox (please don’t try this), but a tealight won’t scent a small room. A small candle won’t scent a large room. So, you see? It is proportional.
The Lowdown:
- Smaller candles are excellent for trying new brands or scents. However, if you put a small candle in a large room, you will not be getting the true effect of your purchase.
- If you purchase a smaller candle, put it in a small room such as a bathroom or small bedroom to see if you like the scent and the burn. Chances are, if you put the smaller candle in a large room, you may only smell the fragrance occasionally or if you walk by.
- LARGER, MULTIPLE-WICKED CANDLES ARE FOR FILLING LARGER SPACES.
- Smaller candles WILL NOT fill large rooms.
In Summary: LARGE ROOM = LARGE (Multiple-Wick) CANDLE, SMALL ROOM = SMALL CANDLE
Happy Burning!
Enjoy the journey & hold each other tight!
